Scott Charlton

Chief Executive Officer

Scott joined Transurban as Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director in 2012. Scott has led Transurban through significant growth during his tenure as CEO, expanding its position in existing markets and leading its entry into new markets.

Scott joined Transurban from Lend Lease, where he held positions as Group COO and Group Director of Operations. Previously, Scott held several senior positions across a range of infrastructure entities and financial institutions, including as CFO of Leighton Holdings Limited and Managing Director of Deutsche Bank in Australia and Hong Kong.

Scott is Deputy Chair of Infrastructure Partnerships Australia and is a member of the Monash Industry Council of Advisers, the Business Council of Australia and Roads Australia.

Michelle Jablko

Chief Financial Officer

Michelle joined Transurban in 2021 as Chief Financial Officer. Michelle’s portfolio includes the group finance, treasury, tax, legal, audit, corporate affairs, investor relations and sustainability functions.

Prior to joining Transurban, Michelle was CFO at ANZ Bank for just under five years. That followed more than 15 years of experience in investment banking with UBS and Greenhill Australia as a Managing Director working across a vast array of industries, providing advice on mergers and acquisitions, capital management, funding, and investor relations. Early in her career, Michelle was a lawyer with Allens where she focused on mergers and acquisitions, tax and banking and finance law.

Hugh Wehby

Group Executive, Partners, Delivery and Risk

Hugh joined Transurban in October 2020 and in his role as Group Executive Partners, Delivery and Risk he has responsibility for our strategic partnerships with investment partners, major project delivery, new project opportunity development, risk, and health, safety and environment.

Before joining Transurban, Hugh held various roles at Sydney Airport including Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer, and previously worked at Macquarie Group across investment banking and asset management. Hugh is also a Director and Chair of the Finance and Properties Committee at Northcott, a not-for-profit disability services provider.

Henry Byrne

Group Executive, Victoria and Strategy

Henry was appointed Group Executive Victoria and Strategy in February 2020 with responsibility for the Victorian market and Strategy group, including strategic initiatives and traffic forecasting and analysis. He joined Transurban in 2007 and was appointed to the Executive Committee in 2017 as Group Executive Corporate Affairs. He has worked across most aspects of the business having held senior roles in commercial and operations, corporate affairs and investor relations.

Henry is a Non-executive Director for the Committee for Melbourne and a member of the Research Advisory Board for the Australian National University’s Institute for Infrastructure in Society.

Jessica O'Brien

General Manager, Corporate Affairs, Investor Relations and Sustainability

Jessica has responsibility for public affairs, media, government relations, community engagement, investor relations, internal communications, corporate positioning, brand, Transurban's social licence strategy and sustainability. Jessica is also a member of Transurban’s Executive Leadership Team.

Prior to joining Transurban, Jessica worked at Mirvac in capital allocation and investor relations roles and in funds management in Sydney and New York.

Amy Hogan

Head of Sustainability

Amy has responsibility for the development and implementation of Transurban’s sustainability strategy to deliver enduring and improved social, environmental and economic outcomes for Transurban and its stakeholders.

Prior to joining Transurban, Amy was the Head of Sustainability at Stockland.

Amy is a Director on the not-for-profit board of the Supply Chain Sustainability School (SCSS) and is a member of the Industry Advisory Group for the Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA).

Chris Jackson

General Manager, Customer Experience and Operations

Chris is responsible for managing the end-to-end experience of the more than six million Linkt customers in Australia. Key accountabilities include digital experience, customer service, products, marketing, billing, payments, collections, reporting and analytics.

Prior to joining Transurban, Chris worked in a range of roles spanning financial services, utilities and government.

Zoe Taylor

Project Director, West Gate Tunnel

Zoe leads the team responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the West Gate Tunnel Project in Melbourne’s west.

Zoe was previously the Deputy Project Director for the delivery of the WestConnex M4-M8 link project and has more than 15 years’ experience in operations and construction, including leading and delivering large-scale and complex projects.

Liz Waller

Head of Road Safety

Liz leads a specialist team that works across the group to embed the safe system approach in designing and building new roads, operating and maintaining assets, and developing and communicating driver behaviour change programs. Liz works closely with research institutes on improving safety for vehicle occupants, including children, and new vehicle and road safety technologies.

Before joining Transurban, Liz spent almost 10 years with the Transport Accident Commission (TAC) as Manager, Road Safety Strategy and Programs. Previously she spent four years with VicRoads road safety division.

Liz is an Executive Committee Member for the Australasian College of Road Safety and a member of the US Transportation Research Board’s (TRB) Committee on Vehicle User Education, Training, and Licensing.
