We heard from close to 5,000 people in our most recent Australian community engagement survey.
Transurban’s General Manager Corporate Affairs, Investor Relations and Sustainability Jessica O’Brien said the survey provided opportunities for the community to tell us what they think and know about us, as well as where we should be focusing our efforts.
“We want to understand the needs of our stakeholders so we can contribute and respond in meaningful ways.”
“The findings will help us to deliver outcomes and demonstrate value for our communities.”
We received nearly 1,000 suggestions from customers and community members, covering topics including:
- communication
- community engagement
- environmental initiatives and
- road improvements.
As part of the survey, a small group of winners were also provided with an opportunity to attend a tour of our 24x7 control room.
“It was great to be able to showcase our state-of-the-art control rooms and to share a little bit more about our business; how we’re empowering customers, championing road safety and strengthening communities” said Ms O’Brien.
