Keep hearing about EVs, but unsure if they’re for you? Transurban is an EV advocate, and we’re hosting our first EVs for Everyone Drive Day, where Sydneysiders (those with a valid driver licence, that is) can try driving an EV and learn how these new vehicles fit with different lifestyles.

Our EVs for Everyone Drive Day, held at the Sydney Motorsport Park in Eastern Creek is a free, family-friendly event where you can get behind the wheel of an EV (accompanied by a professional driving instructor) and drive it around Australia’s premier driving circuit.
We’ve all heard that EVs are expensive, but we don’t hear a lot about options for making them more affordable, or the running-cost savings that switching to an EV can deliver. At this event you can talk to EV manufacturers, retailers and resellers and learn more about cost-friendly ways to buy, own and charge EVs. You can also pick up tips and advice on reducing your household bills, switching to solar power – and more.
The day will also have lots of fun, free activities for the kids: face painting, go-karts (electric, of course), mini golf, some tasty treats and more.
Vehicles on the day will encompass many different brands, budgets and lifestyles: you could find yourself driving an SUV, a sedan – or even one of Australia’s first electric utes
This event is part of Transurban’s EVs for Everyone program that supports our customers in making the switch to electric vehicles, contributing to cleaner, greener transport and a future of sustainable, net-zero driving.
